How third-party pickup authorization works

Understand how RetiraKit handles kit pickup on your behalf and what authorization is required.

How it works

When you hire RetiraKit, you authorize our team to pick up your kit from the organizer on your behalf. This is done through a digital authorization form included in the order process.

What we need from you

  • Your full name (as registered for the race).
  • Your photo ID (same document used at registration).
  • Race registration proof.
  • Any additional documents required by the specific organizer.

The authorization form

The authorization form is signed digitally inside the RetiraKit order. No printing or physical signature required. We keep a copy for the organizer's verification.

On pickup day

Our representative presents your authorization and documents to the organizer's staff. Everything is pre-verified to avoid issues on the day.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to be present when RetiraKit picks up my kit?

    No. That's the whole point — we pick it up so you don't have to be there.

  • What if the organizer refuses to hand over the kit?

    This is rare and typically caused by a missing document. We'll contact you immediately to resolve it. If pickup is impossible, you'll receive a full refund.

  • Is RetiraKit an official representative of the race?

    No. RetiraKit is an independent service. We act as your personal representative, following the organizer's official requirements.
